2024 Accomplishments
Continued to conduct board business successfully in a virtual manner
Set up and hosted a display at the Rum River Library for Mental Health Awareness Month and to promote the annual walk
Shared resources at information tables for area businesses and their employees
Attend training on Make It Ok, and became Make It Ok ambassadors
Hosted the campaign’s 15th Annual Walk for Mental Wellness
Our most successful fundraiser to date
Walked the parade and shared mental health resources at Pioneer Days in Saint Francis, MN
Recorded a PSA commercial for the local access station, QCTV
Continued participating on the board of NAMI Anoka County
Sponsored, tabled, and attended the NAMI Minnesota State Conference
Issued Community Wellness Grants, a grant to allocate resources to education and awareness activities in the community
Hired an Administration Coordinator, to help implement our mission and goals in the community
Two board members were trained as Ambassadors in Make it OK stigma reduction, four board members in total
Awarded the Healthy Mind, Healthy Body award to the Jamie Mosley
