Our purpose is to reach out to the entire community with the message, “Mental Health is as important as Physical Health."

 2024 Accomplishments

  • Continued to conduct board business successfully in a virtual manner

  • Set up and hosted a display at the Rum River Library for Mental Health Awareness Month and to promote the annual walk

  • Shared resources at information tables for area businesses and their employees

  • Attend training on Make It Ok, and became Make It Ok ambassadors

  • Hosted the campaign’s 15th Annual Walk for Mental Wellness

    1. Our most successful fundraiser to date

  • Walked the parade and shared mental health resources at Pioneer Days in Saint Francis, MN

  • Recorded a PSA commercial for the local access station, QCTV

  • Continued participating on the board of NAMI Anoka County 

  • Sponsored, tabled, and attended the NAMI Minnesota State Conference

  • Issued Community Wellness Grants, a grant to allocate resources to education and awareness activities in the community

  • Hired an Administration Coordinator, to help implement our mission and goals in the community

  • Two board members were trained as Ambassadors in Make it OK stigma reduction, four board members in total

  •  Awarded the Healthy Mind, Healthy Body award to the Jamie Mosley
